About the job

The Junior Project Manager will assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within budget and schedule constraints. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets with senior project managers.
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure project milestones are met according to schedule.
• Communicate project objectives, requirements, and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget to identify potential risks and issues.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements, address concerns, and make decisions.
• Document project requirements, decisions, and changes using appropriate documentation tools and templates.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
• Identify project risks and issues proactively and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Individuals seeking to transition into a software development career are welcome to apply.
• Up to 2 years of experience in business analyst or related roles will be advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to actively participate in training programmes, mentoring sessions, workshops, certification courses, and other learning and development activities assigned by the organisation.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and development practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirement

This is an on-site role based in Singapore and is part of the IMDA Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme. Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply.
