Next-Gen Robotics
Intelligent Hardware/Physical AI
I am currently partnering with an incredibly innovative, fast-growing technology startup on a mission to completely revolutionize the automation landscape. They are building scalable, plug-and-play hardware and software ecosystems to bring next-generation, highly capable electromechanical systems to life.
Take ownership of deploying and fine-tuning advanced control algorithms and learned policies directly onto physical hardware, bridging the gap between simulation and the real world.
Drive the end-to-end integration and rigorous testing of complex robotic systems, perfectly harmonizing perception and actuation hardware.
Act as the cross-functional expert to troubleshoot, debug, and conquer complex challenges across the mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software layers.
Lead the initial bring-up, characterization, and performance evaluation of cutting-edge components, including advanced sensors, motors, encoders, and IMUs.
Shape the future of the product by defining subsystem performance metrics and designing robust test plans for diverse, unpredictable real-world environments.
Collaborate closely with top-tier engineering teams, feeding your hands-on hardware insights directly back into the core system architecture and manufacturing processes.
Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, coupled with 2-3 years of proven success deploying complex systems on real hardware, not just in simulation.
Rock-solid programming proficiency in C++ and/or Python, backed by a deep, system-level understanding of how hardware, firmware, and software interact.
Hands-on expertise in integrating, characterizing, and calibrating dynamic components like sensors, actuators, and computer vision systems.
Highly comfortable getting your hands dirty with standard diagnostic lab gear (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) to solve tough hardware-software interface problems.
Strong working knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, USB, MIPI, GMSL) and a solid grasp of real-time computing constraints like strict latency budgets.
(Plus Point) Prior experience with simulation environments (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim) and a background tackling the unique challenges of dynamic, contact-rich automated systems
