Job Description - Sales Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead, Enterprise Business, to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer acquisition across targeted industry verticals. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales team, develop strategic partnerships, and build strong executive-level relationships to accelerate business growth and strengthen M1's market position.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategies and action plans to acquire enterprise customers in Enterprise Commercial sectors to drive M1 growth areas, i.e. increase new sales and partnership engagements.
  • Identify opportunities and develop long-range goals and objectives for enterprise market penetration in the relevant industries.
  • Foster relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue.
  • Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organisations and premier buyers in the industry.
  • Lead new business presentations and proposals; to drive and work with product and solutions teams, presales teams and project delivery teams to foster cross collaboration.
  • Lead sales planning and acquisition plans for specific opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor and manage a dedicated team, ensuring individual and collective sales targets are met.
  • Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
  • Monitor sales pipelines on a regular basis and prepare sales reports for senior management.
  • Participate in forums and networking events to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices.
  • Support the Director of Sales to lead, shape and capture the market share in areas of M1’s industry vertical and solution focus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise sales experience within the Telecommunications, Connectivity, or Technology sectors, including at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  • Recognised degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, with a deep understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-oriented personality and strong work ethic, results-oriented, flexible, and adaptable; persuasive and diplomatic.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write and succinctly communicate our value, strategy, and proposed solution on client opportunities.
