SAP Consultant

The role of the SAP SD/MM/WM Specialist is to support the sales and supply chain functions of the business by providing system solutions based on the SD, MM modules.

This role combines the SD, MM and WM technical specialism with an advisory role on sales and logistics generally and the candidate will be expected to develop skills in adjacent modules (like SM/QM and PP) in order to operate as a system expert on the end-to-end supply chain and progress to greater responsibility.

This position will support a variety of projects modifications to our core business processes and delivery of major functional enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

SD/MM Expert knowledge

• An expert on the capability, functions and the detailed configuration of these modules.

• Able to show deep business process understanding of sales and logistics and good knowledge of adjacent functions such as production and basic finance.

• Responsible for project work, training in the sale and logistic, module and work as a helpdesk support.

Professional Delivery

• Able to operate across the complete development cycle, working with the business to analyse requirements, proposing, developing and testing system solutions, training key users and ultimately delivering a high-quality solution.

• Works in a structured, methodical style and creates appropriate levels of documentation and training materials according to solution.

System Support

• Able to understand and cope well with occasional urgent issues by showing flexibility and willingness to resolve

Project Management

• Ability to manage and support complex and demanding projects to tight deadlines to ensure on-time delivery

Professional Experience

• BSc Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree level qualification

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a relevant environment, with demonstrated responsibility for SAP SD, MM, and WM modules within an international organization, including participation in at least two full project lifecycle implementations.

• Strong project management and presentation skills

• Hands-on experience in configuring and developing SAP SD, MM, and WM modules, with a strong understanding of integrated supply chain processes and cross-functional dependencies.

• Solid understanding of SAP user exits and ABAP programming, including their application in enhancements and custom developments.

• Ability to communicate in Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders)

• Strong proficiency in MS Office skills

• Familiarity with AI Applications and AI Agents

• Knowledge of related modules a strong advantage

• Willingness to travel across Asia region primarily and globally required
