SAP Finance AP and CO Lead

Primary Purpose

As an SAP AP and CO Lead Consultant, you will lead finance transformation initiatives with a focus and work closely with business stakeholder and technical teams to delivery scalable and efficient solutions on management accounting, Account Payable and controlling processes across SAP platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

§ Lead the design and implementation of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) and Controlling (CO) solutions within SAP S/4 HANA Finance domain.

§ Drive end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process design, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment runs

§ Define cost allocation cycles, planning, budgeting, and variance analysis frameworks

§ Ensure alignment with business performance management and reporting needs

§ Ensure alignment with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls

§ Lead functional workstream delivery across SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.

§ Drive adoption of S/4HANA innovations such as Universal Journal and real-time analytics

§ Conduct workshops to gather and analyse business requirements for financial track.

§ Translate requirements into functional design and configuration specifications

§ Collaborate with FI, MM, SD, and cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end integration

§ Collaborate with technical (ABAP) teams for enhancements, interfaces, and integrations

§ Design and review functional specifications for RICEF objects

§ Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities

Technical Responsibilities

§ Configure and drive SAP FI-AP modules and key processes, including:

» Vendor master data

» Invoice posting and validation

» Automatic payment program (F110)

» Withholding tax and tax integration

§ Configure and drive SAP FI-CO modules and key processes, including:

» Cost Centre Accounting (COCCA)

» Profit Centre Accounting (PCA)

» Internal Orders

» Product Costing (PC)

» Profitability Analysis (COPA – account-based & costing-based)

» Variance Calculations, Over Heads, WIP Calculations Settlement

» Actual Price Calculation, Budget Planning

§ Nice to have experience in :

» Asset Accounting and REFX

» Fund Management and Grant Management

Role Requirement

§ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline

§ Over 10 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years with S/4HANA

§ Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments (e.g., RISE with SAP) and full lifecycle SAP implementations (design-build-test-deployment-hypercare).

§ Completed a minimum of 3 end-to-end implementation projects (lasting at least 4 years in total), with at least 2 of them being S/4HANA projects

§ More than 5 years of team lead experience and managed and led at least 3 team members.

§ Has worked on projects involving at least 20 company codes and/or plants

Preference will be given to Singapore Citizens or PR, and the role requires onsite presence in Singapore
