About the Role

Join our Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of global banking systems that support critical regulatory reporting operations.

You will be part of a highly collaborative international environment, working closely with teams across Singapore and Paris to enhance test automation capabilities, improve delivery speed, and maintain the highest standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to test automation initiatives using a Selenium-based framework
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts in Java and/or Python
• Perform non-regression testing for application releases supporting global banking operations
• Execute and monitor scheduled test cycles (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve defects efficiently
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely tracking through resolution
• Improve testing workflows, frameworks, and automation coverage to reduce release lead times
• Contribute to the test automation chapter by sharing best practices and mentoring peers
• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for stakeholders and management
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Agile and DevOps practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Test automation: Selenium
• Programming: Java and/or Python
• Version control: Git CI/CD tools: Jenkins or similar
• Databases: SQL (Oracle or SQL Server preferred)API testing: RESTful services

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kafka, or IBM MQSeries
• Familiarity with Control-M or similar job schedulers
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus
• Exposure to Agile and ITIL environments
• Understanding of Lean principles
• ISTQB or other software testing certifications
