Senior Cloud Engineer

Working with a large financial institution, As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments. You'll collaborate with software developers, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems on the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure )

• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud performance, availability, and security

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery

• Manage cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), and backup/disaster recovery strategies

• Monitor system health, cost usage, and optimize cloud spending

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud-native best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or related roles
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or AKS)
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.) or Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, App Services, etc
• Experience with scripting such as powershell, python or bash
