Senior ERP Systems Support Executive (AS/400 & RPG)

Responsibilities

• Provide programming, helpdesk and technical support for WINGS and related subsystems.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues across regional subsidiaries.
• Monitor helpdesk tickets and deliver timely, effective solutions to reported issues.
• Guide and coach subsidiary IT personnel on issue resolution and system best practices.
• Ensure system stability through regular checks, backups and recovery procedures for WINGS.
• Improve system operations by analysing user feedback and recommending enhancements.
• Plan and conduct technical training sessions for subsidiary IT teams.
• Support AS/400 server migration, operating system upgrades and PTF upgrades.
• Perform annual AS/400 backup, restoration and user profile reviews.
• Deliver 2nd and 3rd level disaster recovery support.
• Provide 2nd level support for Compleo and customise templates based on business needs.
• Support roll-outs and post-go-live activities for G4, New Rack System, Group EDI and Machine Parts Management Systems.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in ERP or system support roles.
• Hands-on experience with AS/400 (iSeries) environments.
• Proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, CL programming and QRY/400.
• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing or distribution environments is an added advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
