About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to evolve in our digital workspace environment.

You will join a high-performing distributed team of automation and technology specialists, drive innovation, and ensure our employees benefit from a secure, efficient, and seamless workspace experience. You will be reporting to the Lead IT Engineer located in Portugal and be responsible for implementing and maintaining our workspace environment to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves working closely with various departments to support and enhance end-user experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain office and workspace applications.
• Cheerfully and proactively support end-users.
• Contribute to choose employee related workspace tools and to design solutions.
• Provide network administration and support.
• Install and integrate new hardwares and applications.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency) and test for weaknesses.
• Manage user accounts and associated permissions.
• Resolve problems reported, either by end user or internal monitoring.
• Contribute to define policies and procedures.
• Contribute to specified system requirements and design solutions.
• Automate recurring task and policies.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with IAM setup and administration.
• Experience with UEM setup and administration.
• Experience with EDR setup and administration.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 360.
• Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Experience with firewalls, VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
