Senior IT Manager

Job Role:

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for leading the organization's IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems implementation, and digital transformation initiatives. The role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems while aligning technology strategies with business objectives.

Job Description:

1. IT Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
• Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and IT best practices.
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and resource planning.

2. Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services etc.
• Ensure high system availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Manage hardware and software lifecycle planning.

3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and controls.
• Monitor and mitigate IT security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Lead incident response and business continuity planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and cybersecurity regulations.

4. Digital Solutions

• Lead system upgrades, integrations, and implementation projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business efficiency.

5. IT Operations & Support

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and user support requests.
• Establish and monitor IT service levels and performance metrics.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service quality and cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business units to understand and address technology needs.

7. Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel.
• Foster a high-performance and service-oriented IT culture.
• Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
