Senior Manager, Information Security

We are partnering with a leading services organisation to hire an experienced Senior Manager, Information Security to lead a team responsible for strengthening and protecting the organisation's cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Oversee enterprise security operations, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring to maintain a strong cyber defense posture.
• Drive infrastructure and cloud security initiatives by enhancing security controls, hardening enterprise environments, and ensuring secure adoption of cloud technologies.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to assess cyber risks, provide security guidance, and support the secure delivery of new systems and technology initiatives.
• Provide oversight of identity and access management practices to ensure appropriate governance, access controls, and compliance with organisational security standards.
• Lead initiatives to enhance cybersecurity capabilities, improve operational resilience, and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum 14 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure Security, with proven team leadership experience.
• Strong technical expertise across Security Operations, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, and Incident Response.
• Hands-on experience securing Windows and Linux platforms, with exposure to cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, or equivalent are highly regarded.
• Experience within the financial services, insurance, banking, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
