Senior Network Consulting Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Engages with customers to create value and deliver outcomes, adoption, and renewals. Proactively collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified customer experience across the lifecycle
• Provides support on Client's networking products and solutions for customers, leveraging technical expertise, AI and automation, strategic guidance, and innovative solutions to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrates expertise across technologies, developing specialized insight in a sector or domain (e.g., Healthcare, BFSI) to benefit a broad customer base, and implementing Resilience and Security by design into all deliverables
• Serves as a focal point for proactive problem resolution, providing timely support across the client's technology stack
• Leads strategy and optimization of the client's services and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer goals
• Develops and delivers technical content and guidance that supports customer engagements, drives solution adoption, and takes end-to-end responsibility for the success of customer solutions and leads collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders
• Creates customer-facing documentation, ensuring deliverables are technically sound, clearly articulated, and aligned with client standards
• Leverages AI and automation to enhance delivery efficiency, innovation and customer outcomes, while also increasing personal productivity and focus on high-impact work
• Contributes to knowledge sharing and the development of digital intellectual capital, including documentation templates, automation artifacts and other assets that improve the client's delivery methodology and processes
• Builds leadership presence through regular customer engagements and by participating in industry events and technical forums

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field
• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience and good knowledge in routing and switching protocols like: IGP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, VDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN-EVPN etc.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience on Cisco Routing and Switching Platforms — ISR 1800/1900/2900/3900/4000 Series routers, ASR 1000, Cat 9k, 6500, 6800, 4500, Nexus 9k, 7k
• Good experience in SDN technologies (Cisco SD-WAN/SDA/ACI)
• Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or network solution designing of routers and switches in a medium to large-scale enterprise network
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to influence, motivate and work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment to drive outcomes-based plans, programs and execution
• Prior experience conducting customer workshops; high-level and low-level network design experience preferred
• Experience with ND/NDFC/UCS products is preferred
• AI/ML and network automation skills preferred (Python / Ansible / GoLang / Splunk)
• CCIE certification is preferred
