We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Oracle Applications DBA to join the enterprise infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and cloud migration of core business applications and large-scale database environments. You will play a key role in managing hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, robust disaster recovery, and seamless system upgrades across the enterprise ecosystem.
Infrastructure & DB Management: Administer, configure, and maintain production enterprise database environments, focusing primarily on Oracle (11g/12c/19c) alongside support for heterogeneous environments like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Cloud Operations: Support the deployment and scaling of enterprise applications across public cloud platforms (OCI and AWS), managing core resources such as compute, storage, and virtual networks.
Upgrades & Patching: Coordinate and execute lifecycle management tasks, including database upgrades, application patching cycles, and performance validation testing.
Automation & CI/CD: Utilize modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or Chef) to automate repetitive deployment and provisioning workflows.
High Availability & DR: Implement and maintain robust disaster recovery systems, utilizing replication and data guard tools to ensure zero downtime and secure backup protocols.
Performance Engineering: Diagnose and resolve complex database bottlenecks, long-running application jobs, and query performance issues using standard diagnostics tools.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of enterprise experience working as an Apps DBA or Cloud Database Engineer within large-scale environments.
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience working within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Applications & Middleware: Proven track record managing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments or similar large ERP applications, including WebLogic middleware administration.
Tools & Automation: Proficiency with version control tools (Git) and automation frameworks like Terraform.
Security & Identity: Exposure to configuring Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), or directory service integrations.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
