SENIOR PLANNING SUPERVISOR (MNC/PERMANENT POSITION)

Job Summary

You will lead production planning, material planning, and inventory control to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely customer fulfillment. Collaborate with internal teams and contract manufacturing (CM) partners to align demand and supply, optimize inventory, and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain production and material planning schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and available capacity
• Ensure availability of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted production and achievement of on-time delivery performance
• Manage inventory control processes, including monitoring and reducing Excess & Obsolete (E&O) stock to optimize inventory levels
• Identify, assess, and manage E&O risks, and drive timely mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders
• Lead or participate in project and process improvement initiatives within supply chain and operations to enhance efficiency
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel to analyze data and support decision-making
• Prepare management presentations using PowerPoint with clear data visualization to communicate insights and progress
• Apply strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to resolve supply chain challenges and improve workflows
• Communicate effectively and manage relationships with internal stakeholders (Production, Procurement, Sales, Logistics) and contract manufacturing partners
• Support ad-hoc tasks, urgent requirements, and special assignments as assigned by management to ensure business continuity and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in project or process improvement initiatives within supply chain or operations
• Strong experience in inventory control, including Excess & Obsolete (E&O) management
• Ability to prepare management presentations (PPT) with strong analytical and data visualization skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment
