Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a SeniorDeveloper to join our Polaris Business Delivery Team in Singapore, where youwill build data-driven solutions on the Polaris platform.

What you will do

You’ll be joining a team ofdevelopers that build and maintain software on the Polaris platform andadditionally handling operational duties for on the platform. 

What you need

• Deep skills in Python programming 
• Experience in creating architecture for and implementing server solutions 
• Good understanding of the Polaris platform 
• Knowledge on JavaScript based front-ends 
• Good understanding of NBIM data warehouses its architecture and data, including Snowflake, DBT and data sources 
• Deep skillset on AWS Solutions such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS RDS and AWS S3  
• Solid understanding of SQL server and other RDBMS solutions 
• Deep understanding and interest for Equity business area

You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, and bring substantial hands-on experience from complex software development environments — ideally within financial services or investment management.

You are a curious and self-driven problem-solver who thrives when working across the full technology stack, from backend architecture to data pipelines, and you take genuine ownership of the solutions you build.

You have a collaborative mindset and communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders, making you an effective bridge between business needs and technical delivery.

You stay current with developments in cloud technologies, data engineering, and software architecture, and you bring informed opinions on best practices — particularly within AWS-native and Python-based ecosystems.

You have a natural interest in financial markets and equity investing, and you find meaning in building tools and platforms that directly support investment decision-making at one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds.
