Senior Software Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our engineering team. This role requires strong expertise in software and system integration, working across multiple subsystems, applications, networks, and infrastructure components to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality, performance, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in highly regulated, safety-critical, or high-availability environments, or other large-scale operational technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration activities for large-scale, software-intensive platforms.
• Integrate, configure, automate, and validate software, infrastructure, and third-party components to ensure end-to-end system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across applications, operating systems, networks, databases, and middleware.
• Develop and execute integration, verification, deployment, and release plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support system delivery and operational readiness.
• Support testing, deployment, and production implementation activities.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in system integration, software integration, or system engineering roles.
• Proven experience integrating, automating, and troubleshooting complex software systems across Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and system troubleshooting.
• Experience owning and managing integration environments, diagnosing system-level issues, and delivering stable releases in Agile and multi-team settings.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C++, or similar.
• Experience with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment frameworks.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls) and distributed system architectures.
• Familiarity with databases, virtualization, containerization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale, mission-critical, or highly available systems.

Preferred

• Background in Aerospace, Defense, Transportation, Telecommunications, Critical Infrastructure, Industrial Automation, or similar complex operational environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, or equivalent technologies.
• Exposure to safety-critical or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of systems verification, validation, configuration management, and release management processes.
