Senior SQL Server DBA

We're hiring a Senior SQL Server DBA to own reliability, performance, and recoverability of business-critical database environments — production stability is the top priority.

What you'll do:

• Own operation, performance, and recoverability of SQL Server environments
• Maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
• Diagnose performance issues: query tuning, indexing, locking, blocking
• Review schema changes and migrations with engineering before deployment
• Lead root cause analysis for database-related incidents

What you'll need:

• 5+ years as a DBA or database engineer in production environments
• Strong hands-on Microsoft SQL Server expertise
• Performance tuning, execution plans, and capacity planning skills
• HA/DR experience: AlwaysOn Availability Groups, replication, log shipping
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Git-based workflows

Nice to have:

• Azure SQL, Azure Managed Instance, or AWS RDS for SQL Server
• SSIS, Airflow, dbt, or Azure Data Factory
• Power BI / reporting database support
• Monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, SQL Sentry
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch familiarity
