Senior Systems Engineer (Windows Server)

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Windows Server infrastructure to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Windows Server environments that support our enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to system efficiency and reliability.  

What will you do? 

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server infrastructure across multiple environments, including on-premises and hybrid cloud deployments 

• Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user management, group policies, and security configurations 

• Manage Hyper-V virtualization platforms and optimize virtual machine performance and resource allocation 

• Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement optimization strategies to ensure peak operational efficiency 

• Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity 

• Implement and manage patch management processes, security updates, and system hardening procedures 

• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline routine administrative tasks 

• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical support to resolve infrastructure problems 

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards 

• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge management and team reference 

• Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades to support organizational growth 

Qualifications 

The ideal candidate should possess: 

•  8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration 

•  Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 

•  Expertise in Active Directory, AD Federation Services (ADFS), and Group Policy 

•  Experience with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) 

•  Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IIS, and file/print services 

•  Experience in backup and recovery solutions 

•  Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation 

•  Knowledge of patch management and monitoring tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS) 

•  Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and hardening techniques 

•  Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery environments
