About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the enhancement and delivery of enterprise digital applications. You will work closely with business users, product owners, architects, developers and multiple stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions and ensure successful delivery of system enhancements across complex application environments.

The ideal candidate possesses strong business analysis capabilities together with technical understanding of enterprise applications, integrations and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews and requirement elicitation sessions with users and project stakeholders.
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications (FRD), user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing business processes and recommend process improvements and digital solutions.
• Design solution workflows, process flows, wireframes, prototypes and user journeys.
• Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design secure and scalable enterprise applications.
• Support system solutioning involving workflow management, dynamic case management and enterprise integrations.
• Work with product owners to refine and prioritise product backlogs.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management and production deployment activities.
• Support release planning, deployment and post-implementation activities.
• Assess enhancement requests, analyse impacts and recommend suitable implementation approaches.
• Work closely with technical teams on API integrations, authentication, reporting, payment and accounting modules, batch processing and external system integrations.
• Prepare technical and solution documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure applications comply with security, governance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and solution design.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience in Agile or Scrum software delivery.
• Experience working on enterprise application development projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
• Experience with system integration and API integration projects.
• Knowledge of workflow systems and business process automation.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working closely with developers, architects, QA teams and business users.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
