Job Summary

Leverage your 12+ years of test automation expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools that ensure high-quality software delivery in Agile environments for private banking and financial services domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Selenium, and RestAssured to ensure robust API and UI testing coverage
• Apply Java programming skills and Java design patterns to build scalable and maintainable automation solutions
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools to automate testing workflows and accelerate release cycles
• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker to containerize test environments, enabling consistent and efficient test execution across platforms
• Apply knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure, to support cloud-based testing and deployment scenarios
• Operate within Linux environments to execute and troubleshoot automated tests and scripts
• Follow software engineering best practices including clean code principles, branching strategies, version control, and release management to maintain code quality and traceability
• Integrate streaming platforms such as Confluent Kafka or IBM MQ into testing strategies to validate real-time data processing and messaging workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver quality software increments
• Use Agile planning tools like JIRA and Confluence to track progress, document test cases, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Apply domain knowledge of credit and private banking products including Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Structured Products, Accounting, Pricing, Portfolio Management, Forex, Treasury, and Lending to design relevant test scenarios

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud technologies to support cloud-native testing and deployment
• Familiarity with private banking domain products and workflows to enhance test coverage relevance
