Software Lead $ 8500

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

• Deliver software features based on project priorities, sprint goals, and delivery plans.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and implement technical solutions.

• Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and implementation tasks.

• Develop front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, and software components.

• Build and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and development environments.

• Apply secure coding practices, DevSecOps principles, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and software engineering best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.

• Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and solution evaluations.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality practices.

• Guide software testing strategies, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.

• Estimate technical effort, identify risks, and support successful project delivery.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to software engineers.

• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, quality, and team collaboration.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• 6 years of hands-on software development experience and Min 3 years of experience leading software teams, projects, or technical workstreams.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages/frameworks such as Java, C#, TypeScript, Angular, React, or Next.js.

• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, secure coding, and software design principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
