Software QA Engineer (Manual & Automation, AI-Driven Testing)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality through effective test planning, execution, and automation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in both manual and automated testing. You should also be comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to define test scope and identify risks

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test data, and execution schedules across web and mobile applications

• Execute various test types including functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, performance, and basic security testing

• Document test results and prepare clear, professional test reports for stakeholders

• Manage defects end-to-end: log, track, retest, and close issues with clear reproduction steps and evidence

• Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or PyTest

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including preparation, facilitation, and feedback consolidation

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to enhance product quality

• Leverage AI tools for test case generation, automation, defect analysis, test data creation, and reporting

• Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and QA standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA, Software Testing, or related roles

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Test planning, test case design, and reporting

  • Functional and regression testing (web and/or mobile)

• Good understanding of:

  • SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle

  • Performance testing concepts (load, stress, response time)

  • Basic security testing concepts (authentication, authorization, OWASP basics)

• Experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Appium, PyTest)

• Strong adoption mindset and practical experience with AI tools in software testing

• Excellent English communication skills, with confidence in stakeholder engagement and UAT facilitation
