Job Summary

Lead test automation initiatives by designing and implementing robust frameworks using Java and modern tools. Collaborate in Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with industry best practices and domain expertise in private banking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Selenium, and RestAssured to ensure comprehensive API and UI testing coverage
• Apply Java programming and design patterns to build scalable and maintainable automation solutions
• Integrate cloud technologies, preferably Azure, into automation workflows to enhance deployment and testing efficiency
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as GitLab to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Deploy and manage containerized test environments using Kubernetes and Docker to support scalable and consistent testing
• Operate within Linux environments to execute and troubleshoot automation scripts and tools
• Implement software engineering best practices including clean code policies, branching strategies, release processes, and version control to maintain code quality and traceability
• Leverage streaming platforms like Confluent Kafka and IBM MQ to validate event-driven and messaging components within applications
• Apply domain knowledge in credit and private banking, including products such as Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Structured Products, Accounting, Pricing, Portfolio Management, Forex, Treasury, and Lending to design relevant test scenarios
• Collaborate effectively in Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver testing activities
• Use Agile planning tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track progress, document test cases, and communicate within teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud platform integration in test automation workflows
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration for test environments
• Understanding of Linux operating system for automation script execution
• Exposure to private banking domain and related financial products
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, JIRA, Confluence)
