Solution Architect (application development)

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric digital solutions across web, mobile, eCommerce, marketing, and enterprise platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in digital architecture, system integration, application security, and customer journey design. The successful candidate will work closely with business, product, engineering, and vendor teams to translate business requirements into practical, end-to-end solution architectures.

Preference will be given to candidates with strong B2C experience and a proven track record delivering customer-facing digital platforms at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

·      Design end-to-end solutions that meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

·      Produce architecture deliverables including Solution Architecture Documents (SAD), High-Level Designs (HLD), integration and sequence diagrams.

·      Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and architectural best practices.

·      Provide technical guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Digital Platforms & Customer Experience

·      Architect solutions across web, mobile, self-service, and eCommerce channels.

·      Support customer acquisition, onboarding, sales, fulfilment, retention, and servicing journeys.

·      Collaborate with Product, UX, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

·      Consider SEO, web performance, analytics, personalization, and conversion optimization in solution design.

Integration & Technology

·      Design API-first, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

·      Define integrations across CRM, marketing, billing, order management, fulfilment, payment, and third-party platforms.

·      Drive reusable integration patterns and scalable solution designs.

·      Support cloud-native and modern application architectures.

Security & Governance

·      Apply security-by-design principles for digital channels and APIs.

·      Ensure compliance with security frameworks and best practices including OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API security standards.

·      Identify architecture risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Emerging Technologies

·      Evaluate and support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and emerging digital technologies where relevant.

·      Participate in proof-of-concepts and technology assessments.

Qualifications

·      7–10 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or solution architecture.

·      Minimum 3 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineering role.

·      Proven experience delivering large-scale digital platforms and customer-facing solutions.

·      Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
