Solution Architect (Core Banking and AI)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with deep expertise in Core Banking systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role is critical in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that support digital transformation across mission-critical financial platforms.

The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, ensuring architectural excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability while enabling innovation in banking services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Core Banking modernization, AI-driven initiatives, and SRE transformation programs.
• Define technical roadmaps, integration strategies, and enterprise architecture blueprints.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.

2. Core Banking Expertise

• Architect and modernize retail, corporate, and digital banking platforms.
• Integrate with payment systems, regulatory reporting, and risk management solutions.
• Optimize legacy systems while enabling cloud-native, API-driven banking capabilities.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions for fraud detection, personalization, predictive analytics, and automation.
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize machine learning models in production environments.
• Ensure AI solutions are ethical, explainable, and aligned with regulatory expectations in financial services.

4. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Define and implement strategies for reliability, scalability, and performance across distributed systems.
• Establish and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure service quality.
• Drive observability practices including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Champion automation through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and incident response frameworks.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to align solutions with strategic objectives.
• Communicate architectural decisions effectively to technical and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Core Banking platforms such as Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, or similar).
• Strong SRE expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Strong background in microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and banking regulations.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade, scalable architectures in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Relevant certifications preferred: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Kubernetes, ITIL, or equivalent.
