This is a high-impact, client-facing role sitting at the intersection of technology and financial markets. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the trusted technical and domain expert in the room - working alongside sales leadership to design, present, and win complex, end-to-end investment and risk management solutions for the buy-side community across APAC.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective and existing clients to understand their investment operations, workflows, and painpoints.
• Design and present tailored, end-to-end solutions that map the platform’s capabilities to client-specific requirements
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations to senior stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, Heads of Risk, and Operations leaders
• Own and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and functional questionnaires with a high degree of technical accuracy and commercial awareness
• Partner closely with sales, product, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery
• Develop and maintain deep expertise in the investment management platform and broader ecosystem (portfolio management, order management, risk, compliance, reporting)
• Act as a subject matter expert on investment workflows, asset classes, and operational best practices relevant to the buy-side
• Contribute to regional thought leadership, client workshops, and industry events.
Essential:
• 5–12 years of experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales, or client-facing implementation role within financial technology
• Strong knowledge of investment management platforms -experience with BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, SimCorp, Murex, SS&C or Bloomberg AIM is highly valued.
• Solid understanding of buy-side investment operations -portfolio management, order management, risk analytics, compliance, and/or fund accounting
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders with both technical depth and commercial clarity
