Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical solutioning from requirements through delivery, ensuring scalable and maintainable designs.
Own technical design decisions and review offshore/vendor solutions for alignment and quality.
Enforce engineering standards, conduct design/code reviews, and proactively manage technical risks.
Provide technical leadership and oversight to offshore and vendor teams, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Support testing (unit, integration, UAT), release readiness, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
Drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement, platform modernization, and workflow automation initiatives.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design, development, and quality assurance.
Requirements
5 - 8 years’ experience in Java (J2EE, Spring) and modern front-end frameworks (Angular, AngularJS, React, ReactJS).
Strong experience in solution design, quality governance, and offshore/vendor oversight.
Experience with workflow systems; banking/financial services preferred.
Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-native Java applications on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
Hands-on exposure to container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Experience leading or mentoring software developers.
Hands-on experience with workflow/BPM platforms (e.g., Newgen BPM).
