Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain verification and validation frameworks for the Security Management System (SMS), including integrated modules such as surveillance, access control, alarm monitoring, visitor management, and command centre platforms. 
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, validation plans, and structured verification approaches for end-to-end system functionality and performance assurance. 
• Execute system-level testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system acceptance testing across SMS modules. 
• Design and implement scenario-based test cases covering normal operations, boundary conditions, failure scenarios, security incidents, and emergency response workflows. 
• Develop reusable test assets, validation templates, and automated or semi-automated test procedures for recurring system verification activities. 
• Validate end-to-end data flow and system integration between edge devices (CCTV, sensors, access readers) and central command centre platforms. 
• Perform defect analysis and root cause investigation, working closely with developers, system integrators, and vendors to ensure timely resolution. 
• Monitor and track test coverage, system validation completeness, and defect closure metrics to ensure deployment readiness. 
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, validation reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics reports for project stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, security operations teams, software developers, and external vendors to ensure successful system delivery. 
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, validation processes, and quality assurance standards for security systems. 
• Participate in technical reviews, system design discussions, risk assessments, and deployment readiness evaluations. 
• Contribute to ensuring the SMS platform meets operational reliability, security compliance, and performance requirements. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Technology, or a related discipline. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system validation, quality assurance, integration testing, or complex system verification environments. 
• Strong understanding of structured verification methodologies, test planning, and system validation principles. 
• Experience in end-to-end testing of integrated systems
• Strong ability to design and execute scenario-based testing, including normal, boundary, exception, and failure case validation. 
• Experience in system integration testing and API/data flow validation across multi-module platforms. 
• Knowledge of log analysis, debugging techniques, and root cause analysis in distributed systems. 
• Experience with test documentation, validation reporting, and defect management tools.
• Familiarity with automation concepts for testing or process optimization will be an advantage. 
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments involving technical teams, vendors, and operational users. 
• Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within project timelines. 
• Experience in security operations environments, smart building systems, or command centre projects will be an added advantage.
