Technical Project Lead (Java / AWS)

We are looking for a Technical Project Lead to drive delivery of Java-based applications on AWS cloud platforms within a banking environment. This role combines project leadership and hands-on technical involvement, working closely with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application development and system integration projects
• Work with engineering teams on solution design, APIs, and cloud-based architecture (AWS)
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
• Support system deployment, environment setup, and release coordination
• Coordinate across teams including developers, DevOps, infrastructure, and vendors
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Prepare project documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder updates

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in IT project delivery with exposure to application development
• Working knowledge of Java-based systems, AWS cloud platform, REST APIs and system integration, and SQL databases
• Familiarity with deployment processes, environments, and infrastructure setup
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments
• Ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders

Good to Have

• Experience in banking or financial services systems
• Exposure to DevOps tools
• Understanding of security and regulatory requirements
