Techno Functional Analyst - Java

Job Description:

Functional Support:

• Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Analyze and design for new enhancements and/or existing functionalities.
• Data mining and testing to ensure new enhancements and/or existing functionalities to meet business needs.
• Work with project leads, users and developers to improve processes and functionality

Technical Support:

• Assist with Java application development and troubleshooting after post-implementation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
• Support client project leads and users with technical issues and work on improving system performance.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and fix technical issues related to Java/Cobol applications and SQL databases after post-implementation
• Help analyze operational problems and suggest improvements.

Teamwork:

• Work closely with both technical teams and business project leads/users to ensure smooth communication.
• Contribute to system improvements and process automation.

Requirements:

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience with Java programming.
• Experience with SQL databases and query writing.
• Willing to learn Cobol programming.
• Good functional business analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong and good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams such as Client Project Leads and Users.
• A team player who is eager to learn and grow.
• Experience with Enterprise Java-related backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA and Excel Macros.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1 years of experience working with Java and SQL.
• 1 year in BAU.
• 1 years of experience in Implementation (SDLC) and Change Request Related.
• 1 years of experience in Operation/BAU Support.
• Experience in technical support or a similar role is a plus.
