UI API Developer

The UI and API Developer is responsible for designing and developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces, as well as creating robust and scalable APIs that support front-end functionalities. This role ensures seamless integration between the UI and backend services, providing an exceptional user experience and efficient data flow.

Responsibilities

1. UI Development:

- Create responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Work closely with UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

- Optimize web applications for performance, speed, and scalability.

2. API Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java.

- Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and adhere to best practices in API design.

- Integrate APIs with third-party services and internal systems.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.

- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Testing and Debugging:

- Conduct thorough testing of UI components and APIs to ensure functionality and reliability.

- Debug and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.

- Write unit and integration tests to uphold code quality standards.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain detailed documentation of the UI components, APIs, and overall development processes.

- Provide clear documentation for other developers and stakeholders to facilitate ongoing development and maintenance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing user interfaces with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Overall 10+ years’ experience with relevant tools.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in banking environments
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
