Job Title: VMware Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced VMware Infrastructure Specialist to support ongoing client projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX (V and T), vSphere, vSAN, and the vRealize Suite. You will be responsible for delivering infrastructure services including design, deployment, upgrade, migration, and troubleshooting activities across multiple industries such as banking, telecom, and cloud service providers.

The role requires hands-on delivery experience with VMware enterprise platforms in complex, production-grade environments.

Scope of Work:
• Provide expert-level VMware consulting services to enterprise clients.
• Perform end-to-end deployment, configuration, and optimization of VMware Cloud Foundation environments across multi-site data centers.
• Deploy and configure VMware NSX-T for advanced network virtualization, security, and multi-tenant network architectures.
• Implement VMware vSAN storage and troubleshoot storage-related issues.
• Execute complex NSX-V to NSX-T migration projects using multiple migration methodologies.
• Deploy and maintain VMware vRealize Suite components including vRealize Operations, Log Insight, Lifecycle Manager, vRealize Automation, and Network Insight.
• Perform VMware product version upgrades for vSphere, NSX, vSAN, vCloud Director, and the vRealize Suite.
• Assist with Telco NFV environments for large telecom operators leveraging VMware’s NFV stack.
• Integrate VMware solutions with third-party platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, F5, AlgoSec, and Splunk.
• Support audit, compliance, and UAT documentation as required by customer contracts.
• Deliver runbooks, handover documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer operations teams.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 6+ years of VMware infrastructure implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (4.x, 5.x).
• In-depth knowledge of VMware NSX-T (3.x, 4.x) and NSX-V.
• Advanced experience with vSphere 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x.
• Hands-on with vSAN deployment, configuration, and tuning.
• Extensive experience with vRealize Suite (vROps, vRLI, vRNI, vRA, vRSLCM, Workspace One Access).
• Proven track record of performing NSX-V to NSX-T migrations in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with VMware Telco NFV solutions and vCloud Director integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting capability across networking, storage, compute, and virtualization layers.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as Banking and Telco is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision in customer-facing roles.
