VP, Data and Business Intelligence

What You'll Do

• Architect the Future: Own the end-to-end data roadmap, from ingestion ( booking engines, clickstream) to warehouse ( Snowflake/ BigQuery) to activation.
• Build the Experimentation Engine: Design and deploy a robust internal experimentation platform that enables rigorous A/B testing and feature flagging across our web and app interfaces.
• Infrastructure as a Product: Treat the data platform as a product, ensuring high availability, low latency and ease of use for downstream data consumers.
• Data Governance & Quality: Establish " Golden Paths" for data, ensuring GDPR/CCPA compliance and maintaining a high level of trust in our reporting.
• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CTO to align technical investments with business goals ( eg: personalized search results, dynamic pricing).

Requirements

• OTA/E-commerce Background: Experience handling the high- velocity, high cardinality data common in travel ( search logs, inventory updates).
• Proven- builder: you have built a Data platform from ground up ( or significantly overhauled one) at a scale-up.
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Deep Knowledge of cloud infra ( AWS/ GCP). Modern data stacked ( dbt, Airflow, Spark), and experimentation tools (Statsig, LaunchDarkly or custom builds)
• Leadership: 8+ years in data/platform engineering with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
