Windows Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system health reviews, performance tuning, and resilience improvements
• Provide 24×7 operational support with shift flexibility
• Define and maintain configuration standards and design guidelines for Windows environments
• Manage incident escalations, system recovery, and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Automate repetitive operational and administrative tasks
• Plan and execute patching, OS updates, and software upgrades
• Implement, configure, and maintain system monitoring solutions
• Support project lifecycle activities (design, implementation, and handover)
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Respond promptly to support tickets, alerts, and incident calls

Functional & Technical Competencies

• Strong experience with Windows Server (2008/2012 and above)
• Hands-on experience with Citrix (7.x), NetScaler, StoreFront
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware
• Web and remote access technologies: IIS, RDP, SSH
• Experience in server hardening and security best practices
• Middleware exposure: Connect, IIS, SSH
• Scripting skills in PowerShell (preferred) and/or Batch scripting
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems (advantageous)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Citrix)
