Warehouse QC Assistant

Sasha’s Fine Foods is an award-winning online grocer selling high-quality, sustainable food products to consumers and restaurants across Singapore. We are looking for someone with a great attention to detail and passion for quality and accuracy within operations.

You will be supporting the accurate receipt of inbound deliveries, conducting stock checks, documenting warehouse transactions and quality control within our chilled & frozen environment. You are expected to work with internal and external peers to accomplish this work. 

About the role

• The role is full time, based in Jurong, Singapore (subject to Covid-19 restrictions)
• You will report in directly to the Warehouse QC Executive
• Work is 44 hours, 5.5 days a week, 7am-4pm Thu-Mon, 8am-12n Tue
• Overtime paid
• Renumeration $1.8-$2.1k, subject to experience

Inbound & Outbound Accuracy 

• Receiving into our warehouse system goods on time and in full, ensuring only the required quality of produce enters our operation
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, and is filed accurately for our Supply Chain & Finance teams
• Overseeing and ensuring full and accurate dispatch in a timely and efficient manner

Stock Control 

• Monitoring of stocks and managing inventory accuracy in the warehouse and ERP
• Ensuring we are picking first expired, first out (FEFO) and aim for zero wastage
• Conducting daily ad hoc and periodic cycle counts
• Supporting Finance to ensure accurate payment of suppliers
• Delivering continuous improvements and projects to improve our operation

Key Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in QC or stock control, preferably in a cold room environment
• Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer skills, including route planning software, Excel & Word
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, fluent in English
• Team player, with a positive and can-do attitude
