Analyst, Investment Banking intern (Off-Cycle)

Position Description

CITIC CLSA Singapore is on the lookout for young talent that has a passion for finance and is interested in pursuing a career in the industry.  As such, we are looking for exceptionally talented individuals with a desire to work in finance that want to learn how to be future investment bankers.

Specifically, we are looking for an Investment Banking Intern, to assist senior bankers in originating and executing across a broad spectrum of industries in equity, debt capital markets and M&A transactions.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity and fact checks on all work undertaken

• Maintain credentials and databases

• Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis

• Support the Associates/Analysts and broader team as required for execution of live projects and pitches

Requirements

• Outstanding academic achievements which are complemented by other extracurricular activities

• Prior internship experience in finance would be an added advantage

• Strong analytical, quantitative and interpretation skills, coupled with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• The ability to read, write and speak Business Mandarin will be a strong plus

• A diligent person who is eager to learn

• Good understanding of financial concepts

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Prerequisites

• Penultimate/final year undergraduates or postgraduates undertaking a Finance / Accounting / Economics degree

• Able to commit on a full-time basis for the entire time frame of internship from July to December 2026
