Casualty Treaty, Southeast Asia Intern

You will be part of Munich Re's Casualty Treaty Team in Singapore and will be providing valuable support to the underwriting team. You will also be working closely with the underwriters from other teams where opportunities arise.

We are seeking an intern available for a full-time commitment from May to December 2026 only - please apply only if you can commit to this period.

Your Role

• You will support us in business, data and actuarial analysis as well as preparation and update of power BI database.
• You will assist in consolidating and preparing high quality business summaries to support the portfolio monitoring.
• You will be researching industry or clients business information to support underwriting decisions.
• You will work very closely and proactively within and outside of the Casualty Team.
• You may work on other tasks or some adjusted tasks where requests identified during the period.

Your Profile:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative and study in the area of actuarial, statistics, mathematics, finance, or business.
• You are proactive, collaborative, have strong ownership to the tasks assigned and vocal in your opinions.
• You can produce the work in a professional manner and of high quality.
• You are excellent in communicating and presentation to internal stakeholders.
• You are a fast self-learner, and willing to learn and push boundaries.
