We are looking for a self-motivated member to contribute to the data collection, annotation and data quality control to continuously build and improve our in-house datasets to accelerate the development of our self-driving software stack. In his role, you will work with in-house tools to collect and annotate data coming from the fleet of vehicles.

Role Responsibilities

• Use in-house tools to label point clouds and images.

• Work with the vehicle team to do on-site sensor calibration, collect data, and verify data quality.

• Interact with team members to help us improve on the design of an efficient labeling interface.

• Ensure data quality and identification of data quality issues, is able to make calls for difficult edge cases during labeling.

• Make concrete plans and documents to keep records of data and issues.

• You will gain basic machine learning knowledge to better understand how the labels are used by our learning algorithms

• Develop tooling with c++ or python along the data pipeline, include but not limited to 3D visualisation and annotation tool, calibration toolkit and data processing tools.
  

Required experience:

• Current student in Diploma/BS.

• Available to work on-site schedule between 9:30AM-6 PM Monday-Friday.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and be able to prioritize assignments to meet scheduled data deliverables.

• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.

• Collaborative, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and software.

• Python knowledge and experience in video editing software is a bonus.
