Responsibilities

• Work closely with data architect in creating data pipelines using cloud and big data technologies.
• Work on scheduling big data jobs on cloud.
• Work on deploying and testing data applications.
• Create dashboards for business requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering
• Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Data processing experience in SQL. Knowledge of database principles
• Good grasp of key computer science and software engineering concepts including but not limited to software design patterns, application security, performance, TDD
• Strong interest in learning new data systems and technologies.
• Experience in cloud technologies like AWS is preferred
• Experience with big data frameworks like airflow, spark is desired
• Experience with CI/CD practices and systems (e.g. git, bitbucket) are a plus
• Experience with data visualizations tools like Tableau, Qlik advantageous
