Job Description - Data Science, Intern

Screening Eagle Dreamlab is the leading company in the InspectionTech space. Screening Eagle develops and provides a technology platform for intelligent inspection of the built environment. Currently tens of thousands of our portable sensors are used daily around the world and collecting essential information about the structural condition of existing bridges, buildings, dams, or tunnels. Since our sensors are IoT connected, the data collected is then safely stored as well in our cloud infrastructure.

Develop tools to process the high volume of information collected by cameras and NDT tools (e.g Ground Penetrating Radar).
Uncovered hidden data correlations in aforementioned data (e.g. presence of corrosion vs concrete cover vs geographical location).
Improve existing software tools using data science
1. Discover, learn and apply state-of-the-art Machine Learning techniques to InspectionTech problems.
2. Leverage data science techniques to improve customer insights in the InspectionTech space.
Contribute to developing cutting-edge software and solutions that add value to the company and its customers.

Currently studying Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and related fields.
Knowledge in Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV.
Knowledge in Machine Learning frameworks, such as Pytorch or Tensorflow.
Knowledge in OOP language and data processing libraries, such as Python, Pandas.
Familiar with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, unit testing, containerization.
