Learn more about our benefits. \n\nThis role sits within the Global Transportation Team, a high-performing group responsible for the end-to-end movement of service parts across the world. The team ensures parts are shipped quickly, within regulatory requirements, and cost-effective to support global AGS operations. With deep expertise in international shipping, carrier negotiations, vendor management, trade and regulatory compliance, and data analysis, the team drives operational excellence. We work closely with logistics providers, supply chain teams, and regional operations to deliver best-in-class service performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\u2022 Lead daily transportation operations to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery of service parts worldwide. \n\u2022 Manage carrier performance, drive escalations to resolution, and implement corrective and preventive actions. \n\u2022 Analyze transportation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. \n\u2022 Support vendor management activities, including performance reviews, and conflict resolution. \n\u2022 Partner with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, trade compliance, planning, and regional operations to optimize processes. \n\u2022 Contribute to global transportation strategy, including cost optimization initiatives and service-level improvements. \n\u2022 Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to global trade, regulatory, and safety requirements. \n\u2022 Drive continuous improvement efforts using structured problem-solving and process engineering methodologies.\n\nTechnical Skills \n\u2022 Strong knowledge of supply chain and transportation management, including international shipping workflows. \n\u2022 Proficiency in statistical data analytics to interpret operational trends and support decision-making. \n\u2022 Ability to perform large-scale data analysis using analytical tools to uncover insights and \noptimization opportunities. \n\u2022 Experience with process engineering, including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.\n\nRequirements / Education\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.\n\n\u2022 Strong understanding of global transportation, distribution, or logistics operations.\n\n\u2022 Experience in shipping, carrier management, or supply chain processes (internships or full-time roles) Preferred.\n\n\u2022 Ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into operational improvements.\n\n\u2022 Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nTime Type:\n\nFull time\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nIntern / Student\n\nTravel:\n\nNo\n\nRelocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
