The intern is responsible for supporting the production of high-quality materials for IDT’s production labs that drive significant impact to the organization.

This position reports to the Hazwani Ismail and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations Team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role (Day shift: 10am to 7pm).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Uses a variety of lab equipment process products including limited maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and Chemical Synthesis of short strands of DNA (Oligonucleotides).
• Performing cleaning and recycling of plates used in production, post synthesis processing and QC sampling & Yield quantification.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• NITEC / Diploma in chemical processing / science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required. 
• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Good to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
