Intern, IT Supply Chain

Main Tasks:

SHIPSTA & Freight Rate Database

• Maintain, clean, validate and upload freight rate data in SHIPSTA.


• Check data accuracy and resolve data or system related issues.

• Support continuous improvement and automation opportunities within freight-rate management processes.

Process Improvement & Problem Solving

• Work with logistics buyers across countries to understand and map as-is process, and improve existing processes.


• Identify process gaps, investigate issues, and support problem resolution with business and IT teams.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Use Advance Excel to analyze, validate, and analyze large freight rate datasets.


• Use SQL to query data and identify inconsistencies and perform data validation.


• Create analytical reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and performance

Documentation

• Document business rules, user requirements, and system processes

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or  other disciplines such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good understanding of business processes and system/data flows.


• Advance in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, data transformation and handling large datasets.


• SQL : Basic to intermediate knowledge query skills


• Basic understanding of SAP and ERP concepts.
