Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\n\nIntern \u2013 Manufacturing (CVD Equipment Productivity)\n\nLocation: \nFab 10N / X / A\n\nDepartment: \nManufacturing (Chemical Vapor Deposition)\n\nProject Title: \nCVD Equipment Productivity Improvement\n\nProject Description: \nThis project focuses on identifying, analysing, and implementing productivity improvement opportunities related to Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The intern will study existing equipment-related workflows and processes, apply structured problem-solving methodologies, and propose improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing technician productivity. The project emphasises data-driven analysis and engineering-based solutions to achieve measurable productivity gains.\n\nObjective of the Project: \nQuantify and achieve productivity improvements measured in man-hours saved per week through the development and implementation of engineering solutions related to CVD equipment processes.\n\nOpportunities to be Offered for Full-Time Employment: \nYes\n\nProject Scope:\n\n * Analyse current CVD equipment-related workflows and productivity drivers\n * Identify opportunities for process, tooling, or system improvements\n * Design and develop jigs, tools, or simple systems to enhance technician efficiency\n * Validate improvement concepts through data collection and analysis\n * Present findings, recommendations, and quantified productivity impact\n\n\n\nLearning Opportunities:\n\n * Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing operations and equipment engineering\n * Application of industrial engineering and productivity improvement methodologies\n * Hands-on experience in engineering solution development and validation\n * Data analysis and presentation of quantified business impact\n\n\n\nDeliverable:\n\n * Demonstrate a minimum of 5 man-hours per week productivity savings through validated improvement initiatives\n * Final presentation summarising analysis, solutions developed, and achieved impact\n\n\n\nSkillset Required:\n\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n * High level of initiative and learning agility\n * Ability to work independently in a structured engineering environment\n\n\n\nCourse of Interest: \nChemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering\n\nDuration Period: \nMinimum 3 months\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
