Department: Assembly – Process and Equipment Engineering

Project Title: Improve Assembly Output and Yield for Cost Improvement

⎻The Assembly internship program aim to expose interns to Assembly processes in Semiconductor manufacturing process. You will be exposed to engineering role in starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. You will also be exposed to identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems with hands-on data collection by applying failure analysis, data analytics, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications with engineer guidance to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.

-Skills in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous
