IT Ops L1 Intern

Team and Position Summary

IT Operations L1 department is regarded as BCS’s backbone with 2 pillars. BAU and Project unit.  

Project team will involve in divisional or industry projects representing IT Ops L1 as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to contribute business requirements, produce test plans and cases, conduct functional, non-functional test, support industry testing, project pre and post cutover. This team will also conduct internal training to BAU team to knowledge transfer project information and new process prior to project cutover.

The intern will assist in preparing test cases according to test plan, executive test cases to test application for bugs, test cases tracking, create test progress dashboard, training materials for knowledge transfer to IT Ops L1 BAU team. 

The role offers exposure to strategic projects engagement, and cross-functional collaboration within internal stakeholders in a payments infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and create test cases according to test plan


• Perform testing according to test cases and update test result in Confluence


• Log, track bugs using issue-tracking systems (Confluence) include clear documentation on the issues


• Track test progress of test cases


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams with QA team, developers and BAU team ensue test cases complete according to schedule / plan


• Participate project triage meeting to update test progress


• Prepare presentation materials for knowledge transfer


• Provide reporting processes, dashboards, and templates for internal reviews.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).


• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and share.
