The Opportunity 
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal team in Singapore. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an in-house legal function within a global insurance organisation.You will work closely with experienced legal professionals, supporting a wide range of legal, regulatory, and transformation initiatives while developing practical skills and gaining exposure to the insurance industry. 

Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Intern, you will:

• Conduct legal research on a range of topics, including insurance law, corporate law, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS guidelines).


• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and proofreading legal documents such as non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and policy-related documentation.


• Support the Legal team in corporate governance matters.


• Assist with monitoring and analysing regulatory developments relevant to the insurance sector.


• Contribute to internal policy reviews and legal documentation updates.Help maintain legal templates, repositories, and documentation systems.


• Support the Legal team’s involvement in digitalisation and AI transformation initiatives,including:


• Conducting research on legal and regulatory considerations relating to AI, data usage, and emerging technologies (e.g., PDPA, MAS technology risk guidelines).


• Assisting in the review of AI-related projects, tools, or vendor arrangements from a legal and risk perspective.


• Supporting the development or refinement of internal guidelines on the responsible use of AI within the organisation.


• Provide ad hoc support for legal advisory, transactional, and operational work.


• Participate in internal discussions and team meetings, where appropriate.

Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates who are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).


• Academically strong with an interest in corporate, insurance, regulatory, or technology law.


• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills.


• Effective communicators with good written and verbal skills.


• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.


• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
