Machine Learning Engineer Intern Smart Manufacturing & AI (Micron Technology)

Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows for machine learning model development. Develop and optimize data structures and datasets in cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Google Cloud). Write clean, maintainable code for scalable MLOps implementation and internal tools. Support CI/CD workflows for model testing and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore data-driven solutions. Enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of ML concepts and algorithms. Experience with Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Knowledge of data structures, scripting, and software development fundamentals. Familiarity with SQL or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Coursework or projects in machine learning, data engineering, or cloud computing. Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows (school or personal projects). Exposure to big data concepts, data preprocessing, or ETL processes. Interest in computer vision, signal processing, or statistics. Strong communication skills and proactive learning mindset.
