Machine Learning Engineer / Researcher Intern (Recommendation System & Search)

What can you expect?

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Researcher Intern who will be a part of the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to power our recommendation system and search engine. In this role, you will get your hands dirty to build the next large-scale recommendation and search systems for the fashion industry.

• Assist in the development of scalable recommendation and search engines for fashion content.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, focusing on recommendation systems and search engine algorithms.
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of recommendation models to improve their performance.
• Contribute to data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to inform model development and iteration.
• Work closely with the team to build quick prototypes that test new ideas, features, or algorithms for recommendation and search. This includes rapidly iterating on these prototypes to explore feasibility and identify promising solutions before scaling them to production-level systems.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, gaining exposure to real-world challenges in building large-scale AI systems.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Able to commit to at least 12 weeks of internship.
