[SG] Internship - TPA Operations & Tech Support (4 - 6 Months)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our TPA Operations Analyst team in delivering key reporting and data extraction tasks for various insurer clients. The intern will assist in managing the operational SLA reporting, claims data processing, and support tasks aligned with insurer requirements and timelines.

This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a healthcare TPA environment, collaborating closely with Ops Leads and Tech specialists to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and generating operational reports for multiple insurer clients (including SLA compliance, utilization summaries, and flex claims).


• Support claims data extraction, formatting, and basic analysis using structured report templates.


• Work with internal teams to ensure timely submission of reports based on client-specified schedules.


• Help maintain and update SQL scripts and Excel tools used for data processing and reporting.


• Support ad hoc data tasks and reporting requests from the Business Development and Claims teams.


• Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy of reports before delivery.


• Document key reporting workflows and assist in streamlining repetitive tasks.

About you:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business IT, or a related field.


• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, formatting).


• Exposure to SQL scripting or database querying is a strong advantage.


• Good attention to detail and data accuracy.


• Ability to manage timelines and deliver on multiple reporting tasks.


• Eager to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.


• A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges. 


• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
